The site delivers timely educational updates, shares resources for patient use during office visits, and provides tips on best practices for communication and shared decision-making. It is vital that we have healthcare providers in our Community of Care who are armed with the resources available to EMPOWER their patients to make the best treatment and management choices from the options available to them.
Oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists and other caregivers need to be aware of the latest options, be competent with their use, and be confident with analyzing mutations and biomarkers so they can select the most suitable therapy for patients. To help with this, our customized clinical care and patient toolkits provide important cutting-edge information on current and emerging therapies (eg, endocrine therapies for patients with HR+/HER2– metastatic breast cancer), tools for utilizing molecular testing methods to detect mutations, and additional materials surrounding epidemiology, pathophysiology, living with breast cancer and others.
